Upcoming Church-Wide Even

Fish Fry and Concert

The Baptist Men will be hosting a fish fry in the fellowship hall on Saturday night, November 16th from 4:30 – 6:00. Cost for the meal is a generous donation. Immediately following the fish fry will be a concert in the sanctuary with Charlie Q Benford from Conway, SC. Please make plans know to be with us for this great event.

Church Family Thanksgiving Dinner

Our Church Family Thanksgiving Dinner will take place in our fellowship hall on Sunday, November 24th at 5:30 PM. The church will be providing the meat. Everyone is asked to bring side dishes and desserts. This will be a great time together as we celebrate all that we have to be thankful for during the holiday season. Make your plans to attend.

Hanging of the Greens

Our annual Hanging of the Greens service will take place on Sunday, December 1st at 6:00 PM in our church sanctuary. Join us for a time us music, scripture, decorating and nostalgia as we transform our sanctuary for the Christmas season. Everyone is invited to attend.

Veterans’ Breakfast

Join us for our next Veteran’s Breakfast on Wednesday, December 4th at 8:00 AM. This is a free breakfast for all Veterans and their spouses. Don’t forget to call the church office and let us know that you are planning to attend, (336) 434-1998.

Tanglewood Lights

We will be taking a tractor pulled hayride through the Tanglewood Festival of Lights on Tuesday, December 10th. Ride is scheduled for 7:00 PM. Cost is $6.00 per person. Children 5 and under are free. Only a few spots are still available. Sign up today.

Come Messiah King

The adult choir and drama team will be presenting the Christmas musical, “Come Messiah King” on Saturday, December 14th and Sunday, December 15th at 6:00 PM each evening. Join us as we take the journey to Bethlehem with Mary and Joseph. Encounter angels, shepherds, wise men and more as we witness the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. This will be a special event for your whole family and will surely teach you the true meaning of Christmas. Mark your calendar and plan to attend.

Good News Ahead

The children’s choir and drama team will be presenting the Christmas Musical, “Good News Ahead” on Sunday, December 22nd at 6:00 PM. That evening the children will be collecting a special offering to help purchased animals for needy international families through Samaritan’s Purse. Also, there will be a finger food fellowship immediately following the performance in the church fellowship hall. Join us as we support our children as they share the gospel though this wonderful Christmas production.

Christmas Eve Communion

Make your plans now to join us for a special Christmas Eve Candlelight Communion at 4:00 PM on December 24th in our church sanctuary. There’s no better way to kick off your Christmas celebration than to remember the real reason that Jesus came on that first Christmas morning. It will be a wonderful time to gather with family and friends. Please come and bring someone with you for this special service. Everyone is invited.
