Deacons

The Deacons at Trinity Baptist Church consist of a group of men selected by the congregations to serve along side the Senior Pastor and staff. Their responsibilities include assisting with Baptism services, serving during Communion services, and participating in a Deacon Church Family Ministry. They are also required to attend monthly meetings where issues that pertain to the church and it’s members are discussed and lifted in prayer.

Baptist Men

The Baptist Men’s Ministry at Trinity Baptist Church is a group of men helping others by using their God given talents. Their desire is to assist, help, and encourage others who are facing issues beyond their control or in spite of their best efforts. They strive to show the same hope, faith, and love that Christ has shown to each of them.

Women’s Missionary Union (WMU)

The WMU at Trinity Baptist believe missions is a lifestyle; therefore, they provide mission education resources for all ages-levels, from preschoolers to senior adults. They have a class every first Wednesday of each month, and average 20 ladies per class. All ladies are welcome and encouraged to join.

Senior Adult Ministry

The Senior Adult Ministry at Trinity Baptist is made up of active, mature adults who seek to gather frequently to provide Christian fellowship opportunities for church and community. The Sunshine Club (senior adults) sponsor a covered dish luncheon on the second Tuesday of each month with interesting programs and devotionals. Of course, delicious food is always in abundance. Frequent day trips are planned to exciting destinations. An emphasis for their ministry is the annual Senior Celebration, a daytime series of meetings featuring excellent music and preaching followed by a tasty luncheon each day. Many senior adults from adjacent churches enjoy this time of worship and fellowship. Everyone is welcome. Their goal is to continuously remind senior adults that none are ever too old to enrich their walk with Jesus Christ. Please come and be a part of this group.

Music Ministry

The Music Ministry at Trinity Baptist offers a wide variety of opportunities for members of all ages. Trinity is a multigenerational congregation and strives to provide a blended style of music. The Adult Choir leads in worship every Sunday morning, singing selections ranging from Praise & Worship, Southern Gospel, Traditional Hymns, and everything in between. The choir also performs special presentations at Christmas, Easter and other occasions throughout the year.

There is also a Children’s Choir, made up of children’s in grades K – 6th grade. This choir practices regularly and produces special programs at Christmas and in the Spring.

In 2019 Trinity began hosting concerts with nationally recognized recording artist. On March 31st Jim & Melissa Brady were with us and our 95th Homecoming in May featured The Dixie Echoes. Already scheduled for October 13th is Poet Voices. They will be here at 6:00 PM. This will be a love offering event. Also, The Mark Trammell Quartet will be here on Sunday night, March 8th, 2020. More details on that great event will be coming soon.

Family Ministry

Trinity Baptist is striving to teach families to worship together and show them how to serve our Lord within their homes. Our Family Ministry includes children, youth and parents of all ages.

Our children’s department offers many activities and learning opportunities for both preschool and elementary aged children. In addition to traditional Sunday School, offerings include a children’s church during the Sunday morning service, Sunday evening activities, including children’s choir, and Wednesday night mission based activities. There are also tons of other fun trips and events throughout the year.

The youth at Trinity Baptist is made up of students in grades 6-12. They meet on Sunday mornings, Sunday nights, and Wednesday evenings. The youth enjoy studying and learning God’s Word through in-depth Bible studies with practical, Biblical life applications. The youth also spend lots of time together fellowshipping and having fun. They go on annual summer trips, as well as monthly activities; always striving to grow closer to each other and closer to our Savior, Jesus Christ.

Lastly, at Trinity, there is a desire to provide our parents what they need to enhance their spiritual journey. Opportunities are offered for Bible studies, mission projects, and just good Christian adult fellowship. There are also many activities that families can experience together.

Our desire is that through Family Ministries we can impact lives and reach homes with the love of Jesus Christ.
